I love Naomi Watts -- I think it took somebody like her to keep this script buoyed up under the weight of some really clumsy writing. The plot moves along at a glacial pace with lots of throaty indie music swelling in the background. The so-called "sexy scenes" seem like a pretty standard cut-and-paste from every teen boy's catogue of sex fantasies. That said, I did want to see how the main character, played by Watts, was going to maneuver her way out of an increasingly complicated mess of her own making. While not an especially relatable or likable character, she was interesting enough to carry the ten episodes. I think I would have been thoroughly sick of her if there were a second series, however.
