This was an impossible show. With a character as legendary is Kenobi, I genuinely didn’t it would be possible for Disney to make a series that would be even acceptable. But Chow delivered and how! This series is really all about emotions, and Ewan with his fantastic acting takes us through the entire gambit of human emotions flawlessly. There is the unbearable and paralysing sadness at the beginning, there is fear, guilt, hope, desperation, love, courage, and finally the happiness of being reunited with his master at the very end. Kenobi really made us feel every one of these emotions, like we’re all part of this emotional journey. And then, there is that damn light saber duel in the finale. I mean this entire series could have been reduced to just that one scene and it still would’ve been worth it. The finale is among the best in the entire franchise, and I still cannot comprehend how insanely awesome it is. All in all, as a hardcore Kenobi and star wars fan, I’d give this series a double thumbs up.
