I don’t believe it achieves what it thinks it is, it is meant to be lyrical, poetic it in some respects. In attempts to be that it instead comes across as misguided, unclear, difficult to read and difficult to follow. It has taken me months to finish and I’m left wondering what the story is? The writer seems like they were distracted with trying instead of just being.
