After the meteor landed at 11.21 (11/3) and caused the Virus to spread through their water and mobile devices. Nicolas cage and his family became ill. For Nick it started with a cough. He then lost his taste and smell. His skin was itching. Their social anxieties increased to dramatic levels. I haven't watched the last 30 minutes yet but I can only imagine how wonderful the ending will be!
