This was a waste of time. It starts with the beginning of time and I had to ask someone if I was in the wrong movie screening because I thought I was watching a movie about dinosaurs. There were about 6 to 8 separate storylines running through the movie apparently about all the families who lived on that land or in the house. That was at least four too many. It jumped back and forth between the timelines and there was no real segue to speak of. In the middle of it, a professor and two of his students show up and they're archaeologists. They find a significant necklace and then nothing. The African American family were politically correct inclusions which was disappointing because their storyline could have been developed more. Same with the indigenous people's storyline. The acting throughout the movie was good but the lack of cohesion between all the stories had my sister nod off at least four times. It's a shame because if the producers had concentrated on two or three families, it would have been much better.
