A lovely, moving film. It is beautifully shot, hugely evocative of the period and wonderfully acted. Bill Nigh is, of course, superb, but he is very ably supported by a strong cast. The music, especially the song ‘The Rowan Tree’ lends a poignant backdrop to the movie. Strongly recommended.
