The entire plot of this movie could have been wrapped up in about two minutes. Stretching it to 2 hours and 19 minutes is just not sensible. Additionally, this film feels more like a buildup for the next part of the Joker series. The first movie was a masterpiece, but this one is a disappointment. That being said, Joaquin Phoenix is still at his best, though his talent is overshadowed by the weak concept of this sequel. The portrayal of Harley Quinn couldn't have been worse. These are villains, not singers or performers. Stick to the comics, and if that's not possible, at least try to respect the core of these characters.
