Lost interest during the first episode. The characters seem like caricatures of southerners and not real people. It was clearly just a bunch of bias bs from the beginning, just more entertainment for their base I guess.

I was initially excited to watch this movie. That excitement soon wore off as the movie felt long and the plot took forever develop, just for it to completely change. I wasn’t under the impression this was a vampire movie, but the movie kept taking unlikely turns. The few jump scares, beautiful scenery and music were pros but the actual plot didn’t make much sense and wasn’t very entertaining.

This movie was fun to watch, but was pretty predictable, all up to the last 10-15 minutes. CGI effects weren’t too great either. Millie and Angela Basset are incredible, but this movie did not serve them well.
