Nothing new here. It’s all the Indiana Jones movies, Pirates of the Caribbean movies, The Mummy, and Journey to the Center of the Earth thrown into a blender and poured into a Disney Jungle Cruise boat. Only thing missing was a cameo appearance by Brendan Fraser! Of course, much could also be said about the Biblical symbols all the way through; the River of Life, the Tree of Life, the Resurrection of the dead, good triumphing over evil, etc., etc.
