I have watched SNL since its inception, so I am a loyal viewer and comedy lover. This review/rating was only for 2/24/24, when Shane Gillis hosted. We all know people have opinions on what is funny, but Shane, I have to put it out there: you are just not funny. I don't know who told you that people are uncomfortable with you because you are "pushing boundaries" and saying things that people want to say but are afraid to speak, but if this is the case, in the words of Pelosi, you were sold a pile of Poo Poo. People are not uncomfortable with you because of that. It's because your jokes are juvenile, lazily written, and out of touch. Che and Colin make race, gender, religion, and ethics jokes every week. They don't all land, but over 90% do. If I were your advisor, I would say grow up and get out of the 60s, or whatever decade you are stuck in, and put in the time and learn the complexities of funny joke writing. We are not snowflakes. We like well-crafted, witty, edgy jokes. But hey, if you are a racist, homophobic, and misogynistic man at heart, don't change; it got you a hosting gig on SNL. Shame on you, Lorne Michaels.
