Mai looks like she's nine when she's supposed to be 13? Also the mom isn't even that bad. My mom doesn't let me go to concerts without her permission (or adult supervision) or let me twerk. She's just being a good parent. I guess the message of the story is don't parent your kids? Also, as a tween, I think this movie is kind of babyish but it's not great for younger kids because it talks about periods and stuff like that.

I feel like the haters don't understand that it's ok that this movie movie doesn't have some big grand plot or dramatic plot twist, and the gentle sublety of this movie is part of what makes it so great. This movie doesn't need a big dramatic plot to carry it because it is already so good.

My favorite movie I’m an artist and I have so much renewed passion for drawing all I want to do is draw spidersona’s now! The plot is also really good I would never expect Miles to be an anomily. Some people are complaining how it finished on a cliffhanger and they should have finished the story in one movie, but I understand because they can’t just make the movie 5 hours long and if it was 2 and a half hours so many great scenes would have to be sacrificed. If the whole story was in a 2 and 1/2 hours people would be complaining about how the movie felt rushed.
