This book was so well written from a teenager's perspective. Even though the histories cultures and locations were far different from my own , I connected with their personalities and remembering my own thoughts, hopes, goals, concerns and mistakes of my own teen years. I love reading about different experiences and places, and the fact that is based on experiences and places that actually happened it makes it all better. I loved reading the details of Taiwan, and several times looked up the locations, foods, and Music references in the book. Very nice❤️
