A mashup of Magnificent Seven (Seven Samurai western remake)and Star Wars with archetypes of lone Warrior with a secret past, simple Farmer, Rogue Spacer, Japanese Sword Master, American Indian Prince, tragic Roman General, Valiant Rebel Leader with idealistic sidekick and sister, Evil adopted Father (think Thanos), Evil minion General combined with tragic story of slaughtered Royal Family by trusted advisors amid pyrotechnics of space battle and different landscapes beginning and ending in rural farming community and a mandatory Robot who may be an asset in movie 2. Fun but predictable so far.

Took my Granddaughter (14) wasn't expecting much. Boy was I pleasantly surprised when I found myself joining the rest of the audience in smiling, chuckling, and bursts of laughter! At one time the audience erupted in applause. The theater was full. On leaving I only heard good comments. I will go back again with my adult daughters 0and I will buy it when it becomes available.
