AP Bio isn't laugh-out-loud funny, but it maintains a fine layer of absurdity and that can grow on you pretty fast. Plus, the sheer ridiculousness of the entire plot, and those rare moments of dark humour are what make the show worth watching. If you're looking for the kind of comedy that has you gasping for breath every other minute, though, I wouldn't recommend this show.
