My husband and I have been to this dessert bar on several occasions and have never been stopped at the door in the past. However this past Friday, 2/17 it was quite different. The receptionist seemed short and upset to be working as she didn’t greet or seem excited to be at the front desk. I asked if they had a table for two she proceeded to respond that she didn’t have anything and they were just waiting for people to go ( in her words). Since she didn’t seem to be excited about helping me I turned to the bouncer/ gentleman standing next to the desk at the front door if we could head to the bar as we have done in the past and he confirmed we could. My husband walked in and the bouncer immediately stated that my husband couldn’t enter because he had on a track suit. What’s interesting is that he has been inside with track suits in the past. I’m not sure how this discriminatory act can still exist. I’m not sure why the owner would have this rule in place because it seems based on the reviews this is not the only time this has occurred and continues to persist.
