I feel like the point of this movie was to make you think about why you didn't like certain parts of the way the characters handled things, and how you might be able to apply that to our own actions and society. It wasn't meant to give a perfect solution. It was meant to make you search for one. I liked it, gave me lots to reflect on as a woman and as a person.
It did feel a bit like a fever dream with its randomness, which some people will appreciate and others might not. It also didn't follow the other Barbie movies or shows at all, it followed more from the history of the actual dolls, which was a little disappointing initially (I wanted Raquelle to be there) but I didn't really mind since I just treated them all as new characters separate from the rest of the franchise. Overall, I'm giving 5 stars because I think it was worth the watch and I want to help counter all of the negative reviews. It was a fun movie.
