This movie sucks. I find it necessary to make this review because the glowing reviews were what made me want to watch this movie in the first place. It made a 2 hour viewing time feel excruciatingly long with how predictable the plot was and the simplicity of the movie. Don't get me wrong, I really loved the amazing sci-fi visuals and the premise of the movie, but the execution really rubbed me the wrong way. One thing I could not get over is that the movie pictures AI as another human-like species with similar intelligence and mental processing power, when obviously this is not the case in reality. This throws the whole premise of the AI vs. Humanity idea off. It was almost painful to continue watching past the script flaws and logical errors. After this movie finished, my friends and I all looked at each other and were glad it was finally over, and we are far from movie critics.
