When you are waiting for something new to watch during covid times you end up with something like this... Did we need this? Would you subscribe to see it? When Star Trek huddles to come up with something new (outside TNG) It's always something no fan would dream about or conceive. Lower Decks is an effort in the wrong direction...its not what star trek is about...I understand the humor but it strays too far from the brand/canon to embrace it. It's almost trying to make one see something different. I bet this will not last more than 1 season unless they transform it into something that fans seek
