I had watched this movie when I was a child. Back then, my English skills were limited and I was little so I didn't know what I really expected. However, the love theme and antiwar message stuck with me. Now as a 20-year-old, I now understand the theme even better and now that I have a significant other, the theme rings to me even better than before. It is still one of the best anime I have watched so far and it will never change.
