Here's my review:
5 stars. (SPOILER WARNING). Its an emotive whimsical book that starts off unassuming and borderline generic, but picks off momentum as you continue to read. You embark on the journey of a vulnerable creeper, who is portrayed as inutile due to his inability to do the main characteristic of a creeper - explode. The language in this book is carefully crafted to first invoke sympathy for the creeper as we witness how he is bullied by his peers, pitied by his family and even rejected by his crush. However, his inquisitive nature leads him to realise the potential of his farts, as well as overcome one of the biggest fears creepers have - cats. The story begins to climax here as the reader learns of a threat to the skeleton kingdom - humans planning to annihilate the other mobs of minecraft. In a flurry of events we see the creepers true farting potential emerge, as with the support of his fellow mobs he skillfully scares off wolves, cats and even humans! I truly appreciated how emotive the language was here, even adopting my own sense of pride for the little creeper and his big achievements. I would truly recommend the book to all those who doubt their abilities and are being belittled by their peers. I almost forgot to mention the incredible graphics/visuals that aided author "wimpy fart" in creating a truly inspirational narrative.
