Apparently Lenox Hill recently changed names to Lenox HELL. Where do I begin? The nursing staff is the worst I’ve encountered, unfortunately I’ve been hospitalized twice before. 28 hours into my stay my left arm swelled to 1.75 times the size of my right arm. None of the 11 nurses who waited on me noticed this. One nurse tried to inject Heparin intravenously instead of into the muscle tissue . I had to tell her not to inject the heparin intravenously. Of the 22 different nurses and nurse assistants only one nurse knew that the leg compression pads had a disconnect valve and that they didn’t need to be un-velcrowed. None of the nurses would refill my water jug without asking. It was not until my 3rd day in the hospital that a nurse told me that I was supposed to be calling the hospital cafeteria to order my own food. The nursing staff had zero bedside manner.
