Doesn't this movie remind you a lil bit like the joker movie ? This movie and the joker movie both has Joaquin Phoenix living with his mother and also taking care of her.
I believe the director Todd Phillips(director) of the joker movie took some ideas from this movie and created his successful joker movie. That's just my opinion.
