although some people find the book fatphobic and think it describes awful themes like misogynistic behavior and rape a little too much, i think the author had her reasons for doing that. those awful things are a reality to a lot of people and the gruesomeness was maybe necessary for us to realize the seriousness of those type of situations. i do agree that there could've been more plot twists maybe, but i like the ending and somewhat of a peace that daphne gets.
