'All Men Are Brothers' is one of the best autobiographies I have read. It gives an insight into Mahatma Gandhi 's life. It bears the stamp of Gandhi' s mastery of the language. The book is written in paragraphs & in conversational style. Gandhi was never in an ivory tower
He was one among the Indians who studied worked thought & lived for India. The simplicity of writing is hallmark of Gandhi. What is also important is the paragraph in page 71
Gandhi wanted to die a martyr. He thought his assassination would complete his life's mission. One wonders whether Godse in fact helped Gandhi complete his life's mission
