I seem to be of the unpopular opinion here. I could NOT finish this book. This book was too positive and happy-go-lucky. Even the moments that should have been sad were immediately brushed over. Maybe it’s my fault for choosing this book immediately following a WWII fiction. I am seriously skeptical of two people who are so seemingly nice being capable of writing anything of actual substance. It’s also difficult to believe that there is or was never any animosity between any of the co-stars. Acting is a cut throat business as they have mentioned many times, essentially everyone is competing for screen time. Gave it two stars because I love this show and I did enjoy seeing some of the pictures.
