Played for 1.5 hours today and still not got past the tutorial. As a longtime fan of the series this isn't what I'd hoped for at all. Was hoping for a fresh start that I could play with my folks in co-op mode, despite advertising, it's non-existant! There are too many characters, which are more annoying than charming, the dialogue is pretty flat and I found myself skipping through much of it. Was really looking for that same charm the second game has since it's apparent more inspiration was taken from Pikmin 2 than any other game. 3 stars in the hopes that this picks up after the long as hell tutorial, I can't believe I'm saying this but... I miss the annoying talking ship!
