Into the Wild (2007) 🖤
"I understood what he was doing. He spent four years fulfilling the absurd and tedious duty of graduating from college, and now he was emancipated from that world of abstraction, false security, parents and material excess, the things that cut chris off from the truth of his existence."
Masterpiece movies, Touching movie based on the real life story of Chris McCandless aka Alexander Super tramp. What an awesome adventurous trip that was!
Emile Hirsch was brilliant in his role. Probably his best performance up to date. And also, cannot forget those exceptional performances by Hal Hal brook & Catherine Keener as well.
Natural acting. It felt so real. Had a great score and some cool songs too. Well written story. Quotable Screenplay. Sean Penn had done a great job directing it. However, may be its just for me, but not sure whether they executed the ending in a favorable & compelling way tbh. It was decent. But could've been more effective too I guess. Apart from that, this is such an exciting flick overall. It'll go down in history as one of the finest biopic/adventure films ever made.
