I feel like most people reviewing the movie (looks at rotten Tomatoes) missed the part where it was pretty much explained as a game she was trapped in. She died in the year 2030 and they used her DNA in the far future (150 years) to recreate her, digitally in a VR game, which is why the movie is so chaotic and weird because it's pretty much her trapped in a Grand Theft Auto world where the players are free to create blood shed and chaos, and she is victim to the whims of the player. The movie was not some deep commentary about anything, it was quite literal and it's explained clearly at the end. I enjoyed it, though. It was a very interesting movie. It kept me guessing as to what was going on until the end.
