I see Peter as loving, humble and holy. He understands people but thinks he might be a fool. His relationship to Bea can be so tender. When asked what his law firm does for the Church fall festival, he feeds the multitude and remarks to the minister that what they do is not so different. Faithfulness, compassion, setting things right, treating even the smelly with respect. Greed is not a virtue, amassing wealth is not a goal. This is the Kingdom here and yet to come
