Ronald De Shon

I was deeply affected by Doris Day's death. I grew up taking her talent for granted over the many years she performed for us and then was struck hard with the realization that she was gone. And now I mourn for our loss of a truly good person and huge talent. I didn't know about this album until reading various mourners' comments on line about just how wonderful it was/is and so I ordered it. It IS wonderful and it showcases the almost heart-breaking sweetness of her voice and also her sense of rhythm and style. Andre Previn just enhances this music and never overwhelms.
