I love Michael Palin and have watched his shows for decades.
But the first episode that predictably rehashed the half truths about the Slave Trade really ruined it. Not a word on local tribal slave traders selling their own people or the fact that slavery had existed in Africa for centuries and was culturally accepted for millennia.
