Having spent considerable time visiting Italy on business, and always including Naples on each trip. "Ciao Professore" has an element of real world tragic-comedy of their street scene and what an elementary school teacher might have experienced, while attempting to conduct a class with the youth in Naples during the late 1960s thru early 1970s. I keep returing to this movie to refresh my warmth for Italy, and their people, particularly the professore and his students. The movie is very entertaining and well produced. I am now inviting friends to enjoy it with me, once again a return to the past.
