The movie was quite inspirational to me because so many of us have experienced pain in one way or the other! We’ve learned to be silent and not share our pain; however when one is set free, it is so empowering! For her to go back to her gospel roots despite being told that people didn’t want to hear that kind of music yet her gospel album was amazing and a huge hit! The movie was a ray of hope for me! The actors were also phenomenal! So grateful that I was invited to view it with a good friend! Dr. LaWanda Black-Finney
