The marketing, trailers, thumbnails, early news articles and promises from Kevin Smith all made clear that this was the continuation of He-Man from our childhood.
It is not.
The show completely sidelines He-Man to concentrate almost exclusively on Teela (and somewhat on Evil-Lyn). It's fine when franchises want to do spinoffs about side characters, but you need to be honest about it. It's not OK to lie to your fans, promising them a one thing, then giving them another. This is "subverting expectations" in the very worst way. It's no better than if they created a new series "For the Honor of Grayskull," showed tons of material about She-Ra, then made it all about Bow.
