Such a flat and incomprehensible movie. You sit through two and a half hours of mumbling and erratic behaviour from the actors only to find that nothing ends. There will be a sequel and none of the story lines come to any sort of conclusion. It wouldn't be fair to not share some positive thoughts. The film looks very beautiful. The costumes are also interesting and they look other worldly without being too ridiculous - not an easy feat. That being said, there wasn't any suspense because they never reveal anyone's motivations. As well, the desert is said to be extremely hot, but that wasn't communicated through the action very much either. Seemed to be a missed opportunity there.
