What's not to love about this movie? Everything I hoped for and more, audience was laughing out loud, definately no walk-outs. Hollywood is back 👍

Loving this! Expected to be disappointed, but it's really top-notch [HBO quality] and true to the books. Great acting, sound track, production elements, computer-generated animation, etc. 1st few episodes are a little dull, but to be expected [setting the scene, introducing characters, etc], but this gets amazing real quick. Thought the subtitles would be off-putting but, can hardly notice because I am riveted to the screen!

Maybe the slow pace is not for everyone, but as an artist and as a person disgusted by the extreme economic disparity in this world, I thought this film was stunning. Defoe was fabulous, I wouldn't cut out a moment of his suffering/struggle to survive, battle to keep his sanity and self-reflection.
