Very good, very interesting, very clever story line. Good for our times. Excellent reflection. It is interesting to read the low reviews and the endless copy pasting that is giong on there. It is either an interesting continuation of the storyline done by some internet nerd or a rather crass campaign against the Obamas. Either way, rather creepy. I recommend watching the documentary "Antisocial Networks" as a follow-up.

This is one of the best and most fascinating movies I have ever watched. In fact, it is not a traditional movie, rather an art project and philosophical reflexion. It is an exploration of our human purpose and social values and is set in a grim hyper realistic and extraordinary visual and auditive landscape. There is no plot - except the premise ie it is a civil war - and the characters - photojournalists and reporter - have neither past nor future nor any personality depth to emphasize their presence as mere witnesses. They are our eyes and ears and the focus is on their immediate response to events and how we might act in such circumstances. The movie stays with you long afterwardas and you question the reason why beauty and horror can be so amazingly combined.
