I thought it was an excellent book. To cope with the daily life of North Vietnamese imprisonment he would mentally build his families dream home with the money he was saving. He returned to the United States only to find out that his wife had been unfaithful, took the money set aside and moved on with another man. The Army had no plan for him either and just shuffled him around until he retired.
