Mechanics were just as good as I remember. Very brutal story, loved every part. Pacing felt a bit slow towards the end but the final sequence and ending had me finish with a good feeling. As close to happy ever after as you could expect in this world. Considering New Game+ it, must've been good

Hands down best game I've ever played to this point. Was never a fan of all earlier God Of War games as they were too button bashy. This game not only ticked all the right RPG boxes but also had the story and the combat to back it up. Loved every second of it. Gladly 100% completed it. Will be itching to play the sequel. The lore, the enemies, the bosses the world's, all just on point! Not to mention Kratos just being the most macho character ever while revealing snippets of empathy keeping him likeable. Huge fan of this. Massive thanks to all involved in the creation of this game!

Very weird but thrilling. Rewarded for patience and time. As much strategy as action. Plenty of variety for a game where the goal is walking from A to B. Enjoyed it a lot, totally captivating and addictive
