Was anyone else watching the same show as me? Cheesy dialogue and cheesy action sequences. Poorly written and overly ominous villains, this show suffered greatly for what it could have been.

Ewan McGregor is a phenomenal actor. He is the only good thing about this show. Well, the show is also very pretty, so there’s that. Outside of that, there is nothing redeemable in this show. The writing is uncomfortably forced, the choreography is some of the worst I’ve ever seen, the jokes are bad and the villains are worse. All of the scenes feel very crammed together and the storytelling is an absolute mess. SO MANY THINGS make absolutely no sense. I don’t think a single character in the entire first episode did anything that made sense. This show is so poorly written and directed I don’t know how any of the people involved in that process still have jobs.
