I was disappointed in this sequel - the story was ridiculous, even for an animated Spidey movie. The animation was great, but the art style changes were taken too far - almost every sequence flipped the BG or character styles - which was ultimately just inconsistent and distracting - and the facial expression lines - integrated so effectively in the first movie - were annoying (what’s with those persistent jaw lines?). I think they were trying to be too clever with the drastic art changes - the first film achieved a much better balance. Also the ‘coming of age’ thing with Miles and Gwen is becoming a bit tired - and Dino-spidey, Bubba- spidey, Lego-spidey, horse-spidey - mixed with live action spideys???
