I’ve been a fan of Designated Survivor from the very beginning. I’ve read some reviews of people complaining about all the different aspects & characters of the show & called it a ‘soap opera’. I however disagree; it’s so much more than that. This programme has made me laugh, cry, feel angry, surprised - a whole range of emotions. I’ve just finished Season 3 & I absolutely LOVE that the producers included a transgender character & have included REAL interview footage from REAL AMERICAN people about their ACTUAL thoughts, beliefs, views & expectations of their country, it really highlighted how politics is so complex & at times unfair, cruel & biased. I recommend Designated Survivor - the acting, plot lines & the entire production comes together so smoothly. I’m very much hoping for season 4!
