Queen and Slim is THAT movie. If you compare these young, black individuals to Bonnie & Clyde then you’re simply a dim-wit. Queen & Slim were targeted and labeled as dangerous because of the color of their skin. This movie is powerful. It speaks truth on community, hope, and unity while also boldly addressing the injustices that black people face in this cruel world. Go watch the movie. Be sure to bring a Kleenex or two.
