The story of the national scam by the notorious Harshad Mehta (re-christened in the movie as Harsha Mehra, to avoid legal ramifications) forms an interesting canvass. With the star producer (Kamal) and good acting (mainly by Sivakarthikeyan & Sai Pallavi), the movie Amaran scored very high and with just Dulquer Salman, the director, Venky Atluri, dared the success of Amaran and is standing very successful on his own capable legs. Superb movie and a must watch.

அமர்க்களமான படம். படத்தின் வசனங்கள் இன்றளவும் மிகவும் பேசப்படுவதற்குக் காரணம் அதை எழுதிய எழுத்தாளர் சுஜாதாதான். ரஜினி நடிக்க வேண்டிய படத்தில் அர்ஜுன் நடித்தாலும்,  படம் எடுக்கப்பட்ட விதம் அதைப் பெருமளவு வெற்றி பெறச்செய்தது.

Real trash. The director (Venkat Prabhu), after his recent hit movie Manadu, must be thinking whatever trash he directs, viewers will enjoy. You're terribly wrong, Mr Venkat Prabhu. You call this movie as Venkat Prabhu's Quickie. Preferably call this as Venkat Prabhu's Wacky. You copied the title of a very old, but an excellent movie of Kamal Hassan directed by K Balachander. But, you never bothered with the story or screenplay. The result is a boring, third rated adult movie. .

It;s totally a WOW entertainer. Both Mohanlal and Prithiviraj rock. Kudos to Prithiviraj again as a director for bringing out a very clean laugh riot. Really enjoyable even though the scenes are predictable. Great support by others like Meena, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Kahiha among others.

Very nice parody on the US administration, it's media craze, and people in power. Leonardo Di Capiro & Jennifer Lawrence excel in their respective roles. Special mention has to be made about Meryl Streep for role as the US President. Enjoyable movie.

Excellent movie. Unlike the ever popular Hollywood Superhero movies, Minnal Murali doesn't rely on head spinning CGI, too much of noise, mayhem, blaring music etc. It has believable story-line, very good performances by Tovino Thomas (as Jaison / Minnal Murali), Guru Somasundaram (as Shibu), Femina George (as Biji / Bruce Lee) among other actors. Apart from Tovino Thomas, all marks to Guru Somasundaram for his effortless portrayal of Shibu. Writing team comprises of Arun Anirudhan and Justin Mathew ad kudos to them for writing the story well. Background Music by Sushin Shyam is worth mentioning. A good weekend entertainer. A worthy desi superhero film with substance.

Simply superb sequel. Cinematic brilliance at it's best. The same team did it again. Slow starter, but will choke you in the end. Hats off to Mohanlal and Jeetu Joseph.

Good thriller, without song and comedy routine. Towards the end it was a bit dragging. The director should have cut some of the lengthy discussion and press report scenes, so that the movie could have been much better. Very appreciable attempt. The entire team has done well.

Excellent serial on terrorism and the ways to tackle it. Very well made with believable characters. Leading actors have done well. While there is no Islamophobia attached to the story, it discusses very plausible plot and thereabouts. The title music is captivating. Good serial to watch.
