A well-produced and heartrending movie about a high school student battling osteosarcoma, who leaves his legacy in music. Based on a true-life story, the movie follows Zach Sobiech, a teenager from Minnesota, who decides to live his life fully after receiving a terminal diagnosis. The movie is definitely a tear-jerker, so be prepared. The movie shows how he continued living, not dying, with his terminal diagnosis. My favorite quote of his: "You don't have to find out you're dying to start living." I appreciated the authenticity of the movie; however, as usual, Hollywood had to throw in some "not authentic" parts, of which there is a YouTube video that spells out some of the non-authentic pieces. Zach lived courageously, which is eloquently portrayed in the movie. The actors and actresses show true emotion which definitely comes out in their portrayal of the characters they are playing on the screen.
