Some of the incidental songs are good. That's about all that is.

As it is, Stewart speaks, well actually mumbles, at an impossibly fast clip.. Now, she adds a dastardly Brit accent and, if you can decipher one sentence from her lips, while she emotes in her slouched, nervous posture, you wish the film had come with subtitles.

So ghastly. So bloody. So painful. And yet such a stunningly moving love story that eats into your bones and leaves you hungry for more. Highly recommend. And deserves some awards attention.

A very dark movie. Not because of the subject matter. But because you can't see anything for lack of any light in most scenes. Even when there is supposedly working electricity, no one switches the lights on or even uses a flashlight! Ridiculous mess of a movie and waste of an adaptation of a decent Stephen King tale. Too bad.

Poor Rip making a movie like this, when he could be riding under the big sky of Yellowstone. Surely, he didn't need the money...
