What a disappointment the coverage of the Olympics has been! Too much time spent by guests et al analysing things before and after events over and over again. Bad timing on announcing results too e.g. showing women’s results (which occurred after the men’s) and then the commentator declaring the men’s results thereby spoiling it for watching the men’s. That is just a couple of things not to mention the skipping from an event to watch a medal presentation and in the process missing the end of the event just left. Annoyingly there was also switching channels or going to red button. Not everyone has the ability or capacity to do this. Did you consider that people might be asleep and relying on recordings so not aware of the changes? All in all a complete and utterly unacceptable service from you. Thank goodness for Eurosport who manage to cover so much more and without all the boring over analysis of celebrity former athletes. It is the Olympics I want to watch and as much of the action across the board as possible. Wake up BBC
