I was ecstatic to learn that Street Legal was coming back. I watched every episode back in the day and loved all the characters. Street Legal(the original) was the best Canadian product to hit the airwaves. Each character had their own unique personalities and their delivery captured the essence of the show's theme. Olivia(Cynthia Dale) was outstanding as an actress and believable as a strong agressive beautiful professional who didn't back down when challenged. Eric Peterson was her ally and when I saw him on the Reboot, I could see the long affiliation they had since working on the original series. I am appalled and saddened when I heard CBC was not carrying the series after this first season. The reason? not enough audience attention. I find that hard to believe. The CBC needs to support Canadian content that has class, style and great writing. CBC didn't give Street Legal a chance to get their feet wet and pulled the plug way too early. I am still hoping that they will reconsider so that we can once again be entertained by great Canadian actors. BRING IT BACK
