If you want to sum up the whole film into one term, it would be Stockholm Syndrome. Gangster falling for a girl turning into a big softie (yes his nature wasn't awful from the start but bear with me). The man follows her around till the woman falls for the man who actually was there to collect her father's debt initially, nothing but a classic example of this very syndrome. Man in Love is genuinely for the male gaze, so if you are looking for something other than that, do not waste your time on this one.

You gotta pick this one if you are looking for an epic slow-burn!

Anurag's film at its best, the constant dilemma, tussle among the characters, beauty of relationships, from bickering in the family to serious arguments, this film was so raw, realistic, and beautiful. A MUST WATCH FILM tbh!
