As a fan of the Master John Woo, and the respect he deserves. I will keep my thoughts for myself. But I’d say this: Brian Helgeland ruined Mel Gibson and Michael Bay’s career. Now he’s done it again with the most gifted director of all times…..you can’t woke a classic and iconic film like this one. The final shootout at daylight?? Low budget from Universal or another stupid idea from the writer??? The original script was written with Alain Delon in mind, and in his land, the whole concept was in an instant, destroyed….

Outstanding Film! A prophesy we’re living now. I remember back in 2011 when the producers and Steve were really upset because the Academy ignore the film.....I wonder what would they say today......
